- Certified Interior Designers who have met the requirements and been approved for the CID – Commercial Designation.
- DO NOT select this renewal unless you have been authorized by CCIDC to do so!
- Currently active Certified Interior Designers, renewing their 2-year Certification BEFORE their Expiration Date.
- Payments made after Expiration Date MUST include late fee with payment.
- Late renewals will not be processed until late fee is submitted
- Late fee based upon # of days payment is late
- Completed the requirements for Commercial designation and received approval from CCIDC
- Provide proof of passing one of the following examinations, to qualify: ARE CQRID LEEP-AP NCBDC NCIDQ NKBA-(CKBD) RIDCQ/RIDE
- Must also provide proof of recently passing the following California Based, International Codes Council (ICC) Courses, to qualify:
- Building 101: Building Department Overview
- California Building Code Essentials
- CBC/CFC Means of Egress
- California Building Code Title 24 Regulations
- CBC Chapter 11B: Accessibility in Public Buildings, Public Accommodations, Commercial Buildings
- All CIDs are required to complete the CEU requirements.
- For Commercial Designation 5 of the 10 required hours MUST be CA code specific courses.
- Payments made through this page will not be refunded.
