We are a twenty-five year old Silicon Valley residential design-build firm
searching for a person pursuing a career in design to join our team at an entry level or higher. We are especially searching for a designer that can bring value to our small firm with the following capabilities.
Knowledge of architectural design software and 3d modeling. Experience with Revit, Sketch-Up, AutoCAD and other 3d Modeling applications.
Prepare all levels of drawings including: Floor Plans, Elevations, 3D Renderings,
Support and work closely with design team and participate in product research, material selections, resourcing and applications.
Flexible and creative individual whom can cover the style variety of our customers.
Interaction with our clients and able to demonstrate a high level of attention to details.
Follow company processes and contribute to improving them.

design in both presentation and accuracy and grow with our company.
Other credentials of interest: current architectural and interior design interns, pursuit of related degrees, CID
, CKD, ASID, LEED AP, Green Building training and certification,
Compensation is hourly based with Medical/Dental benefits. Full or Part Time.
Experience in US residential single family homes will only be considered.

UC Berkeley Extension Interior Design and Interior Architecture Program
Compensation: $2,400 Annually
Employment Type: Contractor
Teacher for 12-week
introductory course in lighting design as it applies to residential and commercial spaces. Topics to be covered are: lighting history, lighting principles, luminaire sources/types, regulations and technical
terminology, understanding technical charts. Specific exercises and case studies should be used to train students to draw lighting plans, select light sources/fixtures, write specifications and prepare mock-up study
Course is taught in the evening, Sept 12 - Nov. 28, 6-9 pm.
This is a core course in the Certificate Program of Interior Design and Interior Architecture. Further information on the program can
be found at extension.berkeley.edu/cert/intdes/html. Students taking this class will have had foundation courses and know how to draw both manually and digitally.
