What to Expect Following the COVID-19 Pandemic
Communities are now making efforts to reopen businesses following the mandatory closures that we have experienced over the previous months. Local officials, code organizations, and business associations are working hand in hand to make sure that upon reopening buildings, social distancing requirements and sanitary measures are being properly implemented.
The International Code Council (ICC) has aCoronavirus Response Centerwith a wealth of information to help you and your business through the reopening process.
CCIDC is here to help our CIDs through this unprecedented time.
What’s the Point?
Misleading campaigns such as this don’t accomplish anything, it creates unnecessary confusion, it’s divisive and ultimately fractures the Interior Design profession in California that has been working diligently to create unity.
Working together to support the California Design Profession as a whole, by strengthening the current Law, using the only exam that tests on California Codes and Regulations, Administered by a Certification Board that has Government Oversight, created by the CA Design Profession.
Working towards a better future means we cannot stay stuck in a toxic past that is fractured by this sort of rhetoric. The interior design profession must work together with clear goals to strengthen the laws currently in place, and provide a united front to educate designers, students, and design industry partners.
