For the Spring 2019 IDEX® California Exam

The Spring 2019  IDEX® California exam deadline is:
Midnight on March 1, 2019

Late or incomplete application packets will be automatically pushed to the Fall 2019 Testing window.
Apply for certification and register for May, 2019 IDEX.

There are 4 Paths to qualify for Certification:
Path 1 is for students and designers who currently qualify to take the IDEX California® only. 

Paths 2, 3 and 4 are for designers who meet the requirements to take the IDEX California® and Certify.

Path 3 is if you possess any one of the following examinations:
ARE (Architects Registration Examination – NCARB)
CQRID (Interior Design Society)
NCBDC (American Institute of Building Designers)
NCIDQ (ASID & IIDA)
NKBA (Both CKD and CBD portions)

Path 4 is if you possess any one of the following examinations and would like a Commercial Designation on your Certification:
ARE (Architects Registration Examination – NCARB)
CQRID (Interior Design Society)
NCBDC (American Institute of Building Designers)
NCIDQ (ASID & IIDA)
NKBA (Both CKD and CBD portions)
(Approval and additional ICC Courses are required to complete Path 4).

The final deadline to register is March 1st. For quicker processing, please register soon. 
If you apply after March 1st, you will be registered for the October 2019 exam.

Incomplete applications will not be considered for current Exam Period if not complete by deadline date.

Applications submitted without payment are not reviewed. In the event that your application does not meet minimum qualifications, a refund will be given.
