In compliance with California Building Code, no building or structure shall be erected,
constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a separate permit for each building or structure has first been obtained from the building official.
Code requirements and plan acceptance varies in different cities and counties around the state.
CCIDC NEEDS TO HEAR FROM ALL CIDS WHO SUBMIT THEIR PLANS TO BUILDING DEPARTMENTS.
PLEASE SEND AN E-MAIL OR FAX TO 760-761-4736 WITH THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
1. Your Name with CID #
2. Your telephone #
3. Name of building department that ACCEPTS
your nonstructural, nonseismic plans.
4. Name of building department that REJECTS your nonstructural, nonseismic plans.
Provide recent plan submittals within the last 24 months.
This general request is to assess how many CIDs submit their plans, and which jurisdictions accept or reject the CID stamp.

Your response is required by 6:00 pm, Monday, April 30, 2012.
If you do not submit your plans, no response is required.
